In today’s edition of Pillow Talk, we’re sharing two of our all-time favorite pillow combinations: one that leans into earthy elegance, and one that’s perfect for the pink-loving, stripe-obsessed, prepster at heart.

✨ Earth Tone Elegance: Warm, Rooted & Timeless

Earth tones are our love language. They whisper calm, feel grounded, and work beautifully across so many design styles—whether you're styling a cozy den, a moody bedroom, or a nature-inspired living room.

Here’s our favorite formula:

• 1 large woven or linen pillow in a clay or terracotta tone

• 1 velvet or textured pillow in olive or forest green

• 1 patterned lumbar with a subtle cream, taupe, or rust print

• Optional fourth: a cozy shearling or boucle for that touch of soft luxury

Style Tip: Mix your textures here! Think nubby linens with smooth velvets and chunky knits for a layered, high-end feel.

🎀 Preppy Girl Room: Classic Meets Playful

Designing for a young girl—or just the young at heart? Preppy style is having a major moment, and it’s not all just pink and pearls (though we love that too). For a room that feels fun, fresh, and fashion-forward, we love this happy little combo:

• 1 bold stripe pillow (navy, pink, or green always work!)

• 1 scalloped-edge or ruffle pillow in a coordinating solid

• 1 floral or embroidered lumbar for a nod to tradition

• Optional fourth: a monogram pillow or custom detail for a personal touch
